Preaparing recipes and decorations for Thanksgiving are what makes the day of thanks extra special for everyone, especially the children. It creates memories and helps them feel included.
Nana has found two recipes for your Thanksgiving table favors that can also be used as Thanksgiving place cards. My children always enjoyed being the ones who decided where the company would sit around the table(s). They knew they could seat themselves between their favorite relatives. Preparing the table and seating plan ahead of time, eliminated our three children arguing over who would sit next to their grandmother. They learned to work out their conflicts…in private.
