Help for Unemployed
The bad news is unemployment statistics are unbelievably high and the good news is President Obama just announced an extension of unemployment benefits for the next 13 months. This will benefit about 9 million unemployed workers. The unemployment benefits will also help the economy because those dollars will be the first ones spent on needed good and services in our communities.
Job Search Help
Many of the families that have been seeking Christmas help for their children tell me they have lost their jobs and have been searching for work without success. I don’t know if this will help, but if you are in need of employment and age 18 or over, you may list your information to be posted here on NanaFinds.com. Hopefully, for those of you who submit their information, some employers will find needed applicants to fill their job openings.
How This Job Search Works
All comments must be approved by me before they are visible, except for email addresses which will remain private. If an employer contacts me (through the comment box below), I will contact the job seeker(s) and then an exchange of emails, with permission, will be made. It will then be the responsibility of both parties to continue from that point. I only ask that the outcome of the contacts be reported back to me – which will also remain private if requested.
In the comment box below, submit the following information:
- First Name, Last Initial
- Town, State
- Position(s) Desired
- Part-time / Full-time
- Minimum Wage/Salary Accepted (optional)
- Why should you be hired? (tell something positive about yourself)
