I often receive requests for locations where they can inquire about donation information so their families can receive Christmas assistance in the way of gifts for their children, Christmas trees, and clothing because they are unemployed, disabled, or this year are survivors of the devastating tornadoes and other disasters that hit this country. White Christmas program - Applications for help during the holidays are being accepted - BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The North Baldwin White Christmas program will begin taking applications for the elderly who need assistance at Thanksgiving and families with children 12 or younger who need help at Christmas.

Christmas Charities Year Round – Christmas Charities Year Round’s current goals are to provide clothing for qualified individuals, to give children toys at Christmas, furnish needy families with household goods and clothes, to recognize the elderly with a Christmas gift and meal, and help local residents in times of crisis.

A Child’s Candy Christmas – 2011 tornado survivor children will receive gift donations.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Toy Drive - Families wishing to receive a toy for their children can begin applying Oct. 3 in the sheriff’s office. Enrollment will stay open until Nov. 30 or until all the toys and donations are gone. Toys will be provided for children through the age of 14. The department will verify all requests with other agencies to ensure there is not duplication of help.
